Californians Can't Count

Dan Walters notes a new survey from the Public Policy Institute of California finds:

Only 16 percent of those polled, for example, could accurately peg California's
current population at 30 million to 39 million - the same number who thought it
is less than 10 million.

Ouch. If you ever wonder why CA's legislators can get away with doing such an atrocious job, remind yourself of this and how uninformed many Californians are about the true state of the state.
