Weintraub on Prop 77: "Most Important Initiative"

Dan Weintraub has a good rundown of the situation regarding the redistricting reform initiative and possible legal actions to keep it off the ballots. Point to take away:

If they let the initiative stand, despite the mistakes, the courts will set a
precedent that could lead to greater abuses down the road. If they strike the
measure from the ballot, they will be thwarting the desires of nearly 1 million
Californians.
